Justice for ALL Awards

The Justice for ALL Awards are presented to individuals and groups who exemplify outstanding spirit of community, social justice and goodwill.

Each year awards are given in the areas of leadership, parish & community ministry, social ministry and social justice.Any member of the community who represents the attributes of the original Honorees for whom the awards are named is eligible for nomination.

Award recipients are reviewed by the Justice For All Dinner Nominations Committee, and then recommended to the Office of the Bishop and the Catholic Charities Board of Directors.

The Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio Award for Leadership recognizes the leadership of the former Bishop of the Diocese of Camden in his concern for poor and vulnerable people, and his commitment to building a strong and vibrant Catholic Charities.

The Msgr. Michael Doyle & Msgr. Robert McDermott Award for Parish & Community Ministryhonors the pioneering efforts and leadership of the pastors of two exceptionally socially active parishes located in Camden, New Jersey.

The Sister Grace Nolan Award for Social Ministry honors the enduring legacy and commitment of Sister Grace Nolan, R.S.M., to serving Christ in the poor.

The Peter J. O’Connor Award for Social Justice honors the founder of Fair Share Housing and the lead attorney in two landmark state Supreme Court cases that now set the standard for affordable housing policy.
