The Anti-Human Trafficking Program is run in cooperation with Rural Opportunities, Inc. (ROI). ROI is an organization that is skilled at working with victims of human trafficking.

Victims of human trafficking are exploited for commercial sex or labor purposes by traffickers who use force, fraud or coercion to control their victims. Many victims in the U.S. do not speak English and therefore are unable to communicate with those that could potentially help them.

Victims have come from various locations, such as Africa, Asia, India, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Russia, and Canada.

If you are being forced to work or perform other acts by violence, rape, beating, fraud or threats, contact ROI for help by calling 1-800-624-1432.

ROI can help remove you from danger by helping you to obtain the following services:

  • Legal Services
  • Food and Nutrition
  • Training and Employment
  • Immigration Assistance
  • Health Services
  • Other Services As Needed

Catholic Charities provide vital social services to people in need, regardless of their religious, social, or economic backgrounds.   We provide social services to, advocate for, and empower the poor, oppressed or vulnerable.  We do this on a non-discriminatory, non-sectarian basis throughout the six southern New Jersey counties.
