The Community Resource Warehouse was inspired by Sister Mary Vincent of El Centro in North Camden around 1990.  The idea of the warehouse was to collect useful building supplies, furniture, household items and clothing and make it available to the public.  With keeping the low income individual's dignity intact, a modest fee would be charged.

The warehouse was managed by a group of volunteers until July of 2006 when Catholic Charities assumed responsibility due to the retirement Tom Vergusen.

Catholic Charities provide vital social services to people in need, regardless of their religious, social, or economic backgrounds.   We provide social services to, advocate for, and empower the poor, oppressed or vulnerable.  We do this on a non-discriminatory, non-sectarian basis throughout the six southern New Jersey counties.
